Walking the road to the ceremony together
When you choose me as a (ceremonial) officiant at your wedding, you choose a relaxed, flexible and spontaneous working method. As the striking wedding officiant, I also have many advantages, allowing you to design the wedding ceremony in such a way that it completely suits your own style and personal preferences.
Personal contact
We will of course start with a no-obligation introductory meeting at a location of your choice. Finally, there must be a good click between us. No preparation is necessary. All that is required is your desire to get married.
We will have a second extensive conversation with a questionnaire approximately 8 weeks before your wedding date. If possible, I would like to have this conversation take place at your home or at a place of your choosing. We get to know each other better this way. We take the time for this conversation!
Two weeks before the wedding we will have personal contact again. You are counting down the days to your day. We will go through the ceremony and discuss it. Perhaps there are any wishes or additions that you would like to make.
Between our conversation and the wedding there is always room for questions and exclusive fun stories via email, WhatsApp, calling, etc. You may still want to add or omit something.
Due to the extensive contact in advance, we are no longer strangers to each other and you are more at ease during the wedding ceremony.
After your wedding day we will be in touch again to discuss and of course enjoy!
Freedom of choice in abundance
You have much more freedom in choosing the wedding location if the striking wedding official is allowed to marry you.
More choice about the time of marriage; I can also marry you in the evening or possibly on Sunday.
You consciously choose me as your (ceremonial) wedding officiant. The choice does not depend on, for example, the municipality where you get married. An independent marriage registrar can legally marry someone. This depends on the rules of the relevant municipality.
All options for the ceremony can be completed according to your own wishes. Friends or family who want to do something special? Involve children in the ceremony? Give your pet a role, such as your dog bringing the rings? Make music? Almost anything is possible!
NB! Not in every municipality I can officially marry a bridal couple or make a registered partnership official.
In many municipalities, only BABS who are appointed in another municipality are allowed. To avoid disappointments, I advise you to contact the municipality first.

The wedding day
I will be present at least 1 hour before the ceremony. If there is anything that needs to be discussed and to check whether everything is present and in good order, there is time for that. The master of ceremonies is the right person for this.
No strict timetable like in the town hall, unless you get legally married before or after the ceremony. In every municipality there is a time to do this for free. Waiting time for this is often very long, so take this into account. You do not have to have the legal marriage and the ceremony take place on the same day.
